Long-acting antibiotic injection containing penicillin, used to treat bacterial infections in cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, cats and dogs.
Intracillin® LA is a long-acting antibiotic injection containing procaine penicillin and benzathine penicillin. It’s used to treat bacterial infections caused by penicillin-sensitive organisms in cattle, sheep, pigs, horses, cats and dogs.
Administer one injection of the selected dose immediately. In all species except dairy cows, a repeat in 48 hours is recommended and a third injection may be administered in another 48 hours if necessary. For larger doses, it is advisable to divide the dose in half and inject half in each side of the neck.
It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the Food Notice: Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds.
