Tetraguard™ LA is a long-acting antibiotic injection containing oxytetracycline. It’s used to treat bacterial infections in cattle, sheep and pigs e.g. respiratory and inflammatory diseases.

  • Convenient 100 ml & 250 ml pack sizes
  • One of only two registered tetracycline injections with a subcutaneous administration claim

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Cattle, sheep and pigs: inject 1 ml/10 kg bodyweight daily, by subcutaneous, or intramuscular injection.
  • Normally a single dose is sufficient but a second dose may be given after 72 hours if necessary. For doses over 10 ml, it is desirable to split the total dose between several injection sites.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS

It is an offence for users of this product to cause residues exceeding the relevant MRL in the Food Notice: Maximum Residue Levels for Agricultural Compounds.

  • Milk (cattle): 168 hours (14 milkings)
  • Meat (cattle, sheep and pigs): 28 days

PACK SIZES

Available in 100 ml and 250 ml glass vials
