How to clean your pet’s ears

Cleaning your pet's ears with EpiOtic®
  1. Hold the ear flap and lift it into a vertical position.
  2. Apply EpiOtic® ear cleanser liberally into the ear canal to enable a flushing action.
  1. Without letting go of the ear flap, gently massage the base of the ear, downward and inward in order to disperse EpiOtic® throughout the ear canal for 1 minute. Then allow your dog to shake its head.
  1. Remove the excess fluid and debris with a ball of cotton wool or tissue. Also ensure to clean the inside of the ear flap and in between all the grooves to remove any debris. DO NOT use cotton buds as a poking action can cause damage and push wax further down the ear canal.

TIP: Be gentle when massaging the ear canal as the presence of an ear infection may be painful for your pet.

  1. Repeat steps 1 to 4 until the excess fluid no longer looks dirty.
  1. Repeat steps 1 to 5 to clean the other ear.

TIP: To avoid any mess clean the ears outdoors where your pet can shake their head to remove any excess liquid.
