Notification of change in shelf-life for Intracillin^® 300 Injection (ACVM No. A005301) and Intracillin^® LA (ACVM No. A006308)

Dear Customer,

We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding Intracillin 300 Injection and Intracillin LA.

As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance, we regularly review the stability and safety profile of our products. Following a recent assessment and in adherence to regulatory requirements, the shelf-life of Intracillin 300 Injection and Intracillin LA will be reduced to 12 months. 

This change ensures that Intracillin 300 Injection and Intracillin LA continue to meet the stringent quality and efficacy standards expected from our products. The revised shelf-life will be effective for all batches manufactured from December 2024 onward. The change is effective immediately.

We would like to emphasise that this change does not affect the product's quality, safety, or effectiveness when used within the revised shelf-life period. Products already in the market with the current shelf-life remain safe for use as long as they are stored under recommended conditions and used before the reduced expiry date.
