A vaccine that increases the twinning rate (fecundity) in sheep, leading to increased lambing percentages

Ovastim™ is a fecundity vaccine that increases the eggs available for fertilisation by the ram, increasing twinning rates.

  • Proven in New Zealand and Australian trials
  • 3-6 weeks between sensitiser and booster shot and a minimum period before mating of 3 weeks

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

  • 2 ml subcutaneously into the upper neck.
  • Ovastim™ can be administered concurrently with other treatments such as anthelmintics or vaccines. A mild, transient swelling may occur at the site of injection.

WITHHOLDING PERIODS

  • Milk: Nil
  • Meat: Nil

PACK SIZES

Available in 200 ml and 1 litre plastic pillow packs.
